If you haven't heard already, I'm putting on a photographic exhibition in the Royals shopping centre from 26th June to 3rd July, which juxtaposes photographs of Southend High Street from different viewpoints - from commissioned photographs to street photography, to investigate the shaping of Southend High Street's visual landscape. So, if you've got any spare time I'm looking for volunteers to do three-hour shifts during the week the exhibition is on. The exhibition is currently being advertised as part of the Southend Creative Arts Festival - on page 33 of the festival programme, available at a number of outlets including South Essex College and the Criketers pub to name a few!
