Keep Calm and Carry On!

It's been a hectic few weeks but production of the model is moving along rapidly, as you can see. I have been busy editing down a podcast for southendtimeline.com and the many interviews from the diverse range of folk of Southend-on-sea -to be implanted into the model of the high street.

I have also been asked to take part in an exhibition/project being set up by Southend council as part of a BBC programme coming out later thi year by the same team that produced 'Who do you think you are?' - called 'The British High Street'... It's just pure chance. The programme is all about the rise and fall of the British High Street and I've been meeting with members from the council to discuss my involvement in a possibe series of exhibitions between Jan and March 2011.

Until then you can still Have Your Say and fill out a survey postcard if you're passing Maxwell's or Southend Museum.

  2. Yeah, it's all in the pipeline, depending on heritage lottery funding we might have a few exhibitions in the high street between Jan and April. Things are well-busy! Sorry I didn't get the chance to talk at Village Green, hope you're all good. Di dyou listen to the podcast?
